Hey Everyone hope everyone is doing fine! I am so sorry that it has been a long time since I wrote in this blog life has just been getting in the way! School is going well I have finally officially changed my major to psychology, and now that everyone officially knows that I have changed it everything feels good again before when some people didn't know it felt like things were being boggled up inside of me waiting to get out but now that my dad knows things are better for me, even if he is still pretty mad at me for changing my major oh well he will get over it in due time! I probably won't be graduating until spring 2012 or fall 2012 I haven't made up my mind yet we will see how things go on that it all depends if I feel like studying for the gre's during my time in disney world probably not so I am sure it will now be fall 2012 so pretty much a year and a half later than my originally planned date for graduation oh well! Hope everyone is doing well can't wait till it's time for disney I haven't decided If i am going to leave on the 23rd for disney or the 22nd haven't decided yet if anyone has any suggestions please let me know ! I know I am so behind on my youtube blogs but school has been hectic as well as life at the moment so I guess I can only have enough time in the for the important things to get done if not please look at my youtube page as I will try to get another blog done this weekend we will see how things go with that!

hey everyone hope everyone is doing well! Sorry that i haven't written in so long but their isn't much to say about stuff right now except just doing the basic school work which is why i would write every single day, but school has been keeping me super busy with tests, papers, quizzes, and homework that is due every week so sorry if i haven't been able to keep up here or on my regular youtube channel, and for those of you that i talk to on a regular basis I am sorry that I haven't in awhile if I have been busy but I have also been in the works of creating a professional youtube page about my experience, and as well as keeping up with the non- professional one! I haven't put anything on the professional youtube page yet because I want to get a haircut before I do so yeah during spring break I will! Also School is going good for me right now, I have been very satisfied with all of my classes and such so hope everything will turn out good in the end, but I must say that I am sad :( to see my bowling class go it was a fun way to relieve the stress from the week! oh well maybe I will take it again sometime soon! hope everyone is well and also I will be creating a challenge on my non-professional youtube page so for those of you who want to join in the first clue will be given on Sunday more info will be posted about it tonight so go ahead and check out my page http://www.youtube.com/user/tman4lwh

Disney dreams blog number 2

The day February 16th, the time is 12:30p.m., and the year is 2010, and this is the day that I got my invitation letter from disney to get into the disney college internship program for Quick Service Food & Beverage for the Fall 2010 program! I was so excited to get my letter, and even more so since I wasn't expecting it for another week or too, and I now also have my purple folder at home waiting for me. I have now accepted the offer, and paid the dues for the program and am arriving the 23rd of august by plane! I am so excited to go even though is it possible to feel a little homesick before you even go? I started to feel it a little bit yesterday, but I know this will be a great opportunity for me regardless so overall I am excited! Now I am thinking 183 more days till departure, and their is still so much left I have to do! first off I have to talk to my advisors and tell them I am going to do the program, then fill out paperwork to let the school know that I am doing the program in the fall so I don't have to reapply for the spring! While on top of that this week I have to write a 4 page paper for my one class, and study for a test which is all due on the same day on wed. ( oh the life of a college student) thankfully for the paper I can make stuff up, and put it down since it is just a reflection paper! So sorry I have been holding out, and writing in this journal I have been super busy with my classes so hopefully my goal is to write in this blog at least once a week to give you guys some updates in my life, and how my road to disney is going! disney dreams blog number 1

hey everyone,
This journal is intended for my family, friends, or anyone interested in the disney college program! You can send me questions, or comments to me, and i will answer them as soon as possible. On a related note I guess I should start by introducing myself and letting you all know a little bit about me! I just turned 21 yah officially legal! i am very excited about this start to my disney career which could lead to bigger things in the future which would be an awesome thing! I first off have been interested in working for disney ever since I first saw a disney commercial on t.v., but unfortunately I was not able to go down to disney world during my childhood, so my first experience at disney was when i went with my high school band so that we would be able to play in the disney dreams come true parade! That is an experience I will never forget in my lifetime since it was quite a rewarding one as well for many reason which I won't bore you all to death with! So after this experience the feeling grew even more that I wanted to work for disney so once I got to college, and first heard of the disney college internship program I knew it was something that I had to do, and that was back my freshmen year so long story short after about three years of deciding of when I was going to do the program I realized now would be the perfect time so instead of waiting for the presentation to come here at my college which is in another month I applied early because I didn't want to wait any longer! So on Sunday January 24th, 2010 I went online and watched the e-presentation, and when that was finished I wrote down the presentation code and filled out the application, which is a pretty standard application for any job really. When that was done I had to take the web-based interview which I was nervous for since I was like what if it says that I am not a good canadite for the program? so after the long process I finished it, and it said I was a strong canadite!(typo i know don't feel like correcting it!) and to call disney for an interview, so the next day after my morning class I ran back to my room, and got on the phone with them the first thing, and what did i do I waited 30 minutes before someone picked up in which they were very friendly, and I scheduled my interview for friday january 29th, 2010 at 1:30p.m. and so before my interview i literally stared at my phone for at least 10 minutes prior to disney calling me, but at the exact time my interview was suppose to start it rang which was good because I would have had a heart attack or something if they called me late! so the interview went very well pretty basic questions if you ask me! So after it was done they said I would hear something from them in 4-6 weeks, so now it's the waiting game for the purple folder or as I like to call it the hunt for the purple folder! ( which in my opinion they should make a reality show out of it the wait for the purple folder, and have all sorts of twists in it, I think it would be pretty exciting to watch) Anyways thats it for now I let you know more when something more exciting happens, so until then have a magical day!
